I don't personally like to sign binding contracts with Mercury retrograde, too often important details are missed necessitating revisions and changes when Mercury is direct. I have found that after Mercury changes phase, that is becomes a morning star, which takes place April 28, we have made up our minds and less tends to go awry. You are in a cycle of endings and moving forward to a new phase of life in the course of the year. Your husband wants to initiate a new direction and feel enthusiastic about life. The other thing to keep in mind is that when we feel the need to ask about what could go wrong, we already have a notion that something might, which suggests you feel the need to wait until Mercury is back on track.
