Your street number is astrological…

Wednesday, January 9th, 2013 | astrologer's diary, Astrology for You

Your address is astrological; the street number reduces to a degree. I was looking at cottages in the valley this afternoon. Have decided it is time to move. As an astrologer, I cannot ignore the stars, so I picked a time to head out, so that I’d see something I liked. Had eight properties to drive by, in order to decide which ones I’d like to see inside. Before heading out I had printed the listings, looked at the photos, etc. and done my homework regarding what each place has to offer. I also did the numerology on the house numbers, and naturally took my compass along to see the directions. Another neat tool, I used is to reduce the house number to zodiacal degrees. I read about the simple technique in an astrology magazine maybe two decades ago. I think the publication is no longer around. So if the number is 3657 for example, you reduce it by multiples of 360° to get to a number less than that. This would become 57, which in turn is 17° Taurus.

Each sign is 30 degrees, Aries begins at 0, Taurus at 30, Gemini at 60, Cancer at 90, Leo at 120, Virgo at 150, Libra at 180, Scorpio at 210, Sagittarius at 240, Capricorn 270, Aquarius at 300 and Pisces at 330.  The first place I saw worked out to be 17° Libra, which happens to be the degree of my Mercury in the 9th house. The house was on a hill, on a busy road with a lovely fenced yard. It is currently on my maybe see list. The house I liked out of this batch worked out to be 10°Libra which is the degree of my Mars which is opposite my Moon. It had a beautiful backyard, was in a quiet cul-de-sac and is the first on my list to see within. If I were to describe additional details of my chart, my chart would actually describe the neighbourhoods of the houses I saw. The ones where the degrees did not connect by conjunction to anything in my chart left me cold. I currently live at a place, the house number of which reduces to 23°Scorpio—close my Saturn…I don’t know what we were thinking back then… It has been good in terms of my teaching work…

Have fun playing with your house number, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue by the way reduces to 10°Virgo, which in Obama’s chart sits between his Pluto and Vertex in the 7th house. The Canadian Prime Minister lives at 24 Sussex, no math required 24°Aries. What is your address… this can prove helpful when moving house and needing a secondary tool–astrology is just that a tool.
