I really don't think that conclusion can be drawn from Pluto in the 8th house natally. We primarily react to what the personal planets represent. The global economy has been freefalling since 2008 and we can draw some links to Pluto in Capricorn and big business. When the economy is bad all of us feel it. I would probably begin by looking at how the Sun, which likely rules the 8th house, is positioned natally and what transits and progressions are going on. In order to personalize astrology for each individual we need to look at the entire chart not just components of it--and not at the outer planets in isolation.

This is a very good article. I have found Pluto quite devasting as it sits 19 degrees Leo in 8th House. I was wondering if it is responsible in any way for financial loss?
