Updates to website
Tuesday, December 15th, 2009 | Astrology for You | No Comments
I am busily updating my website, the personalized astrology reports page has been revamped and I added a few new report options. The most recent one is about money and prosperity; the nature of money and how we might learn to generate it with more ease. Check these out at www.astrologicallyspeaking.com/reportsonline.htm. I also added Jupiter’s Promise to the selection, this is another excellent lifetime report written by professional astrologer, Stephanie Clement. These reports offer a wealth of information very inexpensively. The different reports are listed on page Reports about you (see pages under banner) At this time of year make excellent last minute gifts, you can print it at home and put it inside some pretty covers—a gift of insight. Working on my annual horoscopes, which I will post by year’s end.
Inaugural Graduation Canadian Diploma Astrologers
Monday, December 14th, 2009 | General information | No Comments
I was in Toronto last week for the graduation ceremonies for the first Diploma Astrologers in Canada. The organization is called the Canadian Association for Astrological Education. I have been involved with them for 5-6 years now. There were seven graduates who had passed all the examination from basic to advanced, chart calculation, counselling skills and several electives including vocational, relationships, chart calculation and horary astrology. Most had spent at least five years in study.
I see this as an important milestone for astrology, and applaud both the new diploma astrologers as well as the nine teachers, who also received the diploma. We had to have been a practising astrologer for twenty years and a teacher with the CAAE for five years. I was honoured to be recognized with my peers for our significant contribution to both the CAAE and astrology in Canada. You will find the pictures and names at www.thecaae.com for the graduates.

My diploma is hanging on my wall along with my ISAR certification— www.isarastrology.com — as a reminder that so many astrologers and organizations are working toward elevating the standards and setting new goals for our vocation and/or profession; astrology.
Mercury in Earth 2010
Tuesday, December 1st, 2009 | Uncategorized | No Comments
We have a Mercury in earth period beginning December 5, 2009. Over the next 400+ days, Mercury will spend almost half the time in the three earth signs—Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo. I just posted a long article about Mercury, complete with horoscopes for each of the signs for the entire year. It is at www.astrologicallyspeaking.com/Mercury2010-earth.htm
With tonight’s full Moon I feel almost caught up, which is a good thing, seeing that I will be going to Toronto for a few days on Thursday. I will present one seminar on Hellenistic Astrology Applied. On Sunday I am priviledged to be present for the graduation of the first Diploma Astrologers in Canada. I have been involved in the process for the past 5-6 years and am very excited about this. Please check out www.thecaae.com for details.
Later this month I will return to writing more frequently on my blog and catch up with your questions about astrology for general interest; I do not delineate highly personal questions on my blog. Until then…
