A few months ago I picked up a copy of Paulo Coelho’s book–the Alchemist. It turned out to be a delightful read. I loved the way it makes you think about life and our journey through it. Left that book with a girlfriend, who was equally delighted with the book. It is making the rounds now. At the moment, I am reading his book ‘The Witch of Portebello’; the story of Athena through the lens of people who knew her. If you are looking for a good book for the holidays; I highly recommend these two.
For us astrologers both books have a mythological and astrological thread to them. In the first one I found a highly Mercurial theme and this one has interesting concepts to link to the Vertex in the astrological chart and in life.

All the pertinent information right at my fingertips, each year a little different (I have the past years within easy reach for when I need to look back). At a glance has the lunations, inner planet aspects, Mercury, Venus and Mars details, outer planet aspects, the seasons, Sun's ingresses, outer planet aspects, planetary stations, and my notes about when something occurred last.
